I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Special Education at the University of Maryland, College Park. Most of my work looks at race and diversity in higher education. I study issues like affirmative action and Asian American college students. In 2013 I released a book: "When Diversity Drops: Race, Religion, and Affirmative Action in Higher Education."
